The new residential project Jade Tower, developed by Cordia in Fuengirola, Malaga, has once again been recognized internationally for its high quality, originality and commitment to sustainability and new technologies. In fact, its Marketing Manager in Spain, Elizabet Aromova, received last night in London the “International Property Awards 2025”, in the “Smart Home” category, worldwide. Jade Tower was able to participate in this final, in which real estate proposals from all over the world participated, after having won the same award, but at the European level, in October last year. At present, 93% of the Jade Tower units have already been sold.
This international recognition comes in addition to the “Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2024” in the category “Best Luxury Sustainable Apartment Living in Costa del Sol”, which Jade Tower received in June last year.
“We are very proud and very pleased that our first residential project on the Costa del Sol is being so highly rated internationally. Our commitment to the environment and to improving the quality of life of our residents has been our guide from the very beginning. The fact that our efforts serve as a reference in the sector and are being recognized is very motivating for us and encourages us to continue promoting similar projects,” said Mauricio Mesa Gómez, General Manager for Spain and Romania.
The Jade Tower in Fuengirola, which welcomed its first tenants in June of last year, has been built under the Breeam seal, a method of evaluation and certification for more sustainable construction in the design, execution and maintenance phases, and is energy B certified.
“The Jade Tower has a preliminary “very good” level certification. This level of certification denotes a potential reduction in energy and water consumption compared to standard building practices, highlighting that the design is environmentally friendly and its structure is sustainable. This ensures, among other things, that energy consumption will be reduced by up to 70% and water consumption by up to 40% compared to conventional buildings. These reductions are achieved through the application of innovative solutions aimed at minimizing environmental impact,” said Mauricio Mesa Gómez.
Technological innovations
The “International Property Awards 2025” have recognized the technological innovations developed in the Jade Tower to improve the quality of life of its residents, which is why they have awarded it the prize for the best “Smart Home”. The residents of Jade Tower have a special application that not only allows them to reserve, for example, an electric vehicle for their private use, but also many other services such as cleaning, private chef, babysitter, laundry, etc…
In addition, the complex has a coworking space; a Gastrobar; spa with Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, two swimming pools – one indoor and one outdoor and a fully equipped gym, as well as an acoustically isolated cinema room with a large screen and surround sound. In addition, residents are able to control from their mobile device the lighting, air conditioning, raising and lowering of blinds, opening of doors and video intercom service of their home through the APP.
The complex is located in the center of Fuengirola, just 100 meters from the beach, and has 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments distributed over 8 floors, with terraces, garage and storage room.
Residents can also enjoy green spaces and common areas for leisure and recreation. This is the first project developed by Cordia in Spain and has obtained an anticipated demand of 93% of units sold before the handover. In the coming months, the developer plans to launch two new real estate projects of approximately 800 units in Mijas and Marbella.
