The new residential project Jade Tower, developed by Cordia, has received the international “Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2024” in the category “Best Luxury Sustainable Apartment Living in Costa del Sol”, the highest international recognition in the field of sustainability and luxury. The jury particularly valued the fact that this residential complex of 116 luxury flats and penthouses “is a pioneering project in the sector and meets the highest quality standards”.

“We are very pleased that our first residential project on the Costa del Sol has been recognised with this award and that our commitment to the environment serves as a reference in the sector,” said Mauricio Mesa Goméz, Cordia’s General Manager for Spain and Romania.

The Jade Tower in Fuengirola, which will receive its first tenants in June, has been built under the Breeam seal, a method of evaluation and certification for a more sustainable construction in the design, execution and maintenance phases, and has energy certification B.

Sustainable and efficient building
“The Jade Tower has a preliminary certification level of “very good”. This level of certification denotes a potential reduction in energy and water consumption compared to standard building practices, showing that the design is environmentally friendly and the structure is sustainable. This ensures, among other things, that energy consumption will be reduced by up to 70% and water consumption by up to 40% compared to conventional buildings. These reductions are achieved through the application of innovative solutions aimed at minimising environmental impact,” said Mauricio Mesa Gómez.

The complex is located in the centre of Fuengirola, just 100 metres from the beach, and has 1, 2 and 3 bedroom flats distributed over 8 floors, with terraces, garage and storage room. Residents can also enjoy green spaces and communal areas for leisure and recreation. This is the first project developed by Cordia in Spain and has obtained an anticipated demand of 85% of units sold before delivery. In the coming months, the developer plans to launch two new real estate projects of around 800 units in Mijas and Marbella.
